About Us

The Stone Artisan is a small local business covering the Greater Manchester area with MCIOB Chartered Builders, BSc (Hons) Building Surveying and HNC Built Environment qualifications.

Our owner Michael Baker has won national and regional awards for patio and driveway design and installations, and is known for producing unique, artisan walls using reclaimed stone using ancient methods for modern gardens. Michael is experienced in working on Grade 1 and 2 listed buildings with historic value.

First impressions are important, and a new feature wall will certainly enhance your home or years to come giving a unique and arty style to the garden. We also can install block paving for driveways, paths and patios, large scale retaining walls and constructing feature stonework including external fireplaces.

All work comes with a 10-year product guarantee and 5 year installation guaranteed. Covered by full public and indemnity insurance.

Our natural products are generally lower in cost and ongoing maintenance. We can offer natural products and the manufactured alternatives.
